Where Are You Located?
The Majestic Restaurant is located at 931 Broadway in Kansas City, Missouri in the Historic Fitzpatrick’s Saloon Building. You can view a map and get driving directions here.
How Late Are You Open?
The kitchen serves food until 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday, and until 9:00pm on Sunday through Thursday. The bar and dining room stay open after this until the last guest leaves.
Is Parking Available?
In addition to on-street parking, The Majestic Restaurant offers free parking to its patrons after 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, and all weekend, in a private lot located a quarter of a block northeast of the restaurant on Central, north of 10th Street. The lot will be located on the left side of the street- just look for our sign. We do not have valet service.
Is There A Dress Code?
There is not an enforced dress code at The Majestic Restaurant. Business or business-casual attire is the norm.
Do We Need Reservations?
They are always recommended. You can make a reservation by calling the restaurant directly at (816) 221-1888 or through the reservations page on our website. If you do not have reservations, we will still do our best to accommodate you quickly and comfortably.

Is The Majestic Restaurant “Kid Friendly”?
We certainly attempt to be. There are no televisions, but we do our best to accommodate the needs of our younger guests. Crayons are available upon request.
Are You Open For Lunch?
Yes and we provide a specialized menu to provide a variety of options to those dining on a schedule.
Is There Music Tonight?
Yes. To find out who is playing and when they are performing, please visit our jazz calendar.
Is The Jazz Club Open?
The Jazz Club is open Wednesday through Saturday nights, unless otherwise noted.
Is There A Cover For The Jazz Club?
No. The Majestic Restaurant offers full dinner service in our Jazz Club. A limited number of seats may be available for those not having dinner with us. Please contact the restaurant for availability.
Do You Serve The Full Menu In The Jazz Club?
Yes. Full dinner service is available in the Jazz Club.
How Noisy Is The Jazz Club?
This is a tough question to answer. The artists that play in our Jazz Club generally will keep the volume down a bit for the first part of the evening while guests are dining. As the evening progresses, the momentum of the trio builds.
Does The Majestic Restaurant Charge A Corkage Fee?

Is This The Original Majestic Restaurant In Kansas City?
No, the first restaurant to be called The Majestic was near 31st and Gillham. In the early 1990’s, The New Majestic Steakhouse was opened at our current location in The Fitzpatrick Saloon Building.
Didn’t The Majestic Steakhouse Close?
Yes, but to paraphrase Mark Twain, “The rumors of our demise were greatly exaggerated.” The New Majestic Steakhouse closed in 2009, but before the ink was even dry on the obituary The Majestic Restaurant was re-opened under new ownership in the same great location.
