The Historic Fitzpatrick Saloon Building that is home to The Majestic Restaurant has seen over 100 years of Kansas City History. Over the decades it has been a saloon, speakeasy, gambling den and house of ill repute. It has hosted jazz legends, political bosses, and gangsters.
Today at The Majestic Restaurant we serve world class steaks, offer over 300 whiskeys, and feature some of the finest jazz musicians on the world. We strive to provide an incredible dining experience with impeccable service in a building steeped in the history of Kansas City. For over a century this building has seen history unfold and we invite you to join us and make some memories of your own.

The Historical Pendergast Club is our private cigar club on the third floor of the building (stairs only). With leather couches and exposed brick walls, The Pendergast Club exudes the elegance and sophistication of a bygone era. The club is comprised of three areas: the Board Room on the west end of the building which can seat up to 16 for dinner, the main bar lounge area which can accommodate up to 35 for cocktails and bar access and the Game Room on the east end of the building which can seat up to 28 for dinner. The Pendergast Club may be booked in its entirety for parties of up to 60 guests. The Pendergast Club remains one of the very few locations in Kansas City which offers guests the luxury of smoking a fine cigar while enjoying their whiskey or cocktail inside.
The site of a Prohibition-era speakeasy, the Jazz Club at The Majestic Restaurant retains the intimate club feel with portraits of famous local Jazz musicians along the walls, a bar dating from the 1860s and the original saloon safe belonging to James Fitzpatrick. The Jazz Club is available for private dining for parties of up to 65 guests or cocktail parties of up to 85 guests.
Featuring a grand bar dating back to 1910, the restored pressed tin ceiling of the original building, and an 18-foot mural of artists and entertainers with ties to Kansas City by famed local artist Jack O’Hara, the main dining room is available for private dining for parties of up to 75 guests or cocktail parties of up to 125 guests.
