The Kansas City Jazz Experience

The bottom floor of The Historic Fitzpatrick Saloon Building began it’s life as a cellar.  During prohibition, it became a speakeasy where the liquor flowed freely and the sound of jazz filled the air.  A tunnel underneath Broadway allowed patrons from the Coates Opera House across the street to enjoy a drink during intermission or after the show.

Today at The Majestic Jazz Club features some of Kansas City’s finest jazz performers.  We offer full dinner service and our complete list of spirits in the Jazz Club.  The sounds of jazz still fill the air and you never know when a touring artist will drop in for a jam session.  We have live music in the Jazz Club five nights a week and update our calendar regularly so you can always find your favorite local acts.

Reservations for the Jazz Club are strongly recommended.  Tables are reserved for full dining experiences only.  Drinks and appetizers only are available at the bar on a limited basis and are first come, first served.
